The German BMW specialist AC Schnitzer was not satisfied with the original M6,
so they added more power, sportiness and dynamics to it.
By increasing the boost pressure, they increased the power from 560 hp to 620 hp
and the torque from 500 lb-ft to 583 lb-ft. Top speed is now 190 mph (305 km/h).
The AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit gives the already excellent driving
dynamics a further boost. Beside that, the suspension spring kit provides an
even more sporting look thanks to the lowering of the M6 by approximately an
inch.
Switching to the exterior design, the Germans offer a
carbon front spoiler, chromed front grille, carbon rear diffuser and rear
spoiler (Coupé only), which all ensure maximum driving dynamics. A rear skirt film,
emblem film and type designations are also available and complete the power
package in aesthetic terms.
For M6 owners, naturally there must be something acoustically available, too. The AC
Schnitzer sports rear silencer with twin chromed "Sport Trim" tailpipes is
available with and without flap control, in conjunction with the carbon rear
diffuser.
In the interior of all three M6 vehicles (Coupe, Convertible, Gran Coupe) by AC Schnitzer, the motorsport
atmosphere is elegantly maintained. The "Black Line" aluminum cover for BMW "i-Drive
system controller" (anodized black/matt), aluminum pedal set for left- and
right-hand drive (anodized/matt), aluminum footrests (anodized/matt) and floor
mats in velour are all available.
Weight-optimized 20- or 21-inch wheels in Type VIII (one-piece/multipiece/forged), Type V (forged)
and Type IV designs are available to transfer the power to the
road through the corresponding tires.
