With engine tuning from the German VW group specialist ABT, the Audi S8 outputs 665 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque, up from 520 hp and 480 lb-ft. The performance gain was realized with the ABT engine control unit and exhaust system.

According to ABT, their S8 is proof that one can build a super sports car that is not uncomfortable, noisy and cramped.

"As always, we have timed it precisely: our S8 reaches 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. And in contrast to the serial version, its top speed is 290 km/h," said CEO Hans-Jurgen Abt.

ABT preferred to continue with the understated high-end theme and thus kept the exterior untouched. However, the German tuner has a few suitable wheels available in 20- and 21-inch sizes.
