The RS-RacingTeam has turned the BMW M235i Coupe into a race-prepared, but
street legal, machine that could even compete with the M3 or M4.
Available from Spring onwards, the Green Hell Edition M235i seems mainly geared
towards those who want to shave every tenth of a second from their lap time, or
just appreciate a race-ready look on their street car.
The interior has been completely stripped-out, there are no rear seats and even
the original door covers have been replaced with carbon-fiber panels.
The customers can choose between BBS or ATS wheels complete with Michelin
semi-slicks or street-legal tires which can also be used in the rain. To further
improve traction, a KW Clubsport suspension has been installed.
To improve safety, the 2-Series Coupe by RS-RacingTeam features a roll cage,
racing seats with 6-point seat belts and a fire extinguisher.
A stainless-steel exhaust has been installed, which adds a few horsepower to the
otherwise original straight-6 turbo engine. Because there are many different
ways to increase power, this is done on a case-by-case basis.
Last but not least, the car is wrapped in RS graphics, M stripes and
lettering.
All these accessories don't come cheap as the price starts at $77,000, tax
included.
