The Gumpert Apollo S has been resurrected for the Geneva Motor Show and it
features an in-your-face red and silver chrome wrap.
After its recent troubles with bankruptcy, the Gumpert company is present at Geneva with a new coupe called Explosion and this Apollo S supercar, wrapped by a German company 2M Designs.
The company spent 80 hours transforming the "regular" Apollo S into the "Iron Man" version at a cost of 6,800 euros ($9,000). The rims are coated with liquid rubber while a carbon film structure refines the two outer mirrors. The hood grille cover that can be ordered from 2M Designs was removed and replaced with shatterproof Lexani glass.
The Gumpert Apollo S is otherwise almost completely stock. Recent engine improvements have enabled the car to output 780 horsepower.
