The series Porsche 911 Turbo generates 514 hp (383 kW) and 514 lb-ft (710 Nm) of torque with overboost in Sport- und Sport Plus mode.
The TechArt Power Kit TA 091/T1 is based on the TechArt engine management system Techtronic. By pushing the Sport- or Sport Plus button at center console the additional control unit provides an extra power boost. This results in a considerable increase of driving performance in comparison to the series model. With the TechArt Power Kit TA 091/T1 the four-wheel drive sports car accelerates (with Sport Plus) from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8s as coupe, and in 2.9s as cabriolet. The top speed increases by 6 mph to 202 mph (325 km/h). Without using Sport- or Sport Plus mode the vehicle operates with series engine management system.
The power kit is backed by a two-year limited warranty.
To match the power increase, TechArt also offers a sports exhaust system with valve-control. The valve can be adjusted according to driving conditions or with a press of a button.
From September 2014, TechArt Automobildesign will offer a forged centerlock wheel to customers of the current Porsche 911 Turbo, Turbo S and GT3 models (type 991). The TechArt Formula IV Race wheel is lightweight and manufactured in a 20-inch dimension. It can be ordered in titanium grey or with polished front surface.
