For customers who are not satisfied by the series 560 hp, German tuner
PP-Performance now offers a significant upgrade to 800 hp. Torque was also
increased, from series 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) to 700 lb-ft (950 Nm).
The complete package, which costs 18,000 EUR with taxes ($22,500), includes an ECU upgrade, bespoke downpipes, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system and a BMC air filter.
As a result of this massive power bump, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe is capable of hitting a top speed of 203 mph (328 km/h). 0 to 60 mph acceleration time has not been released, but it should turn out to be significantly better than the stock car's 4.2 seconds.
Each PP-Performance solution is being developed and tested in Abu Dhabi. The climate there (with daily highest temperatures above 50°C/122°F) and 92 octane fuel are a challenge even for a a standard performance car. This way, PP-Performance can guarantee a piece of mind to clients across the world.
