Mansory has unveiled a radical new interpretation of the Lamborghini Huracan,
just in time for the Geneva Motor Show.
The "Torofeo" (not "Torofeo") package includes body, engine and interior
enhancements.
The exterior has been completely revamped and features a newly developed air
intakes in the front apron, new front lip and additional daytime running lights.
From the side, the side skirts, the newly designed mirror housings and the
enhanced wheel arches bear the unmistakable Mansory hallmark. At the front, the
body is 30 millimeters wider, and 40 millimeters at the back. Not only are the
new carbon fiber components lighter than their standard equivalents, they also
channel fresh air to both the engine under the new finned safety glass bonnet
and the rear braking system. The vigorous rear spoiler is responsible for the rear downforce. All of these technical enhancements were needed, as the Torofeo
significantly surpasses the performance results of the standard Huracán.
The interior can be customized in various leather and Alcantara combinations.
New steering wheel, aluminum pedals and numerous carbon fiber inserts can also
be specified.
986-Horsepower Twin-Turbo V10 Engine
Whereas the standard Huracan features a naturally-aspirated V10 engine with 600
hp, the version from Mansory is equipped with two turbochargers, new pistons,
connecting rods, bearings, camshafts, a water-cooled intercooler and an entire
fuel system. The Huracan Torofeo from Mansory also has a completely new exhaust
system, from the engine to the tailpipes. The result of this extensive
conversion process is an increase in performance which even demanding
connoisseurs would not have expected: Mansory have driven peak power up to an
incredible 986 hp (735 kW) at 8,250 rpm. The torque is limited electronically to
737 lb-ft (1,000 Newton meters).
The four wheel drive sports car takes a mere 2.6 seconds to race from 0 to 60
mph and only stops accelerating beyond 211 mph (340 km/h).
To transmit the power generated by the completely re-worked V10 cylinder to the
road, Mansory have placed their faith in forged alloy wheels size 9x20 and
12.5x21 inch with tires 245/30 ZR20 at the front and 325/25 ZR21 at the back.
