German branch of Abu Dhabi-based PP-Performance tuning company has put more
oomph into the Porsche 911 Turbo.
With the help of a PP-Performance Digital Racing Box, IPD intake plenum, 3-to-1 headers, downpipes, x-pipe and BMC high performance air filters, the sports car outputs 661 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbo flat-six engine. In comparison, a stock 911 Turbo outputs 520 hp and 489 lb-ft.
According to the tuning company, all this power can be transferred to the road through the rear wheels so efficiently that the car can accelerate to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and to 120 mph in 11.1 seconds. A quarter mile on a drag strip is achieved in 9.8 seconds at 138 mph, as confirmed by the video above.
The cost of all modifications is a relatively modest 12,000 EUR ($13,400).
