At the Geneva Motor Show, German tuner ABT will unveil a 720-horsepower
upgrade for the Audi RS6 Avant. Based on the
facelifted RS6, the sporty wagon has a top speed of 200 mph.
"On this fit occasion, with new lamps for example, our extensive body kit really comes into its own," says Hans-Jurgen Abt, CEO of the globally largest tuner of cars produced by the Volkswagen Group.
To enhance the exterior look, ABT has installed several new parts in exposed carbon fiber: front lip spoiler with its blades, from air inlet trim, side skirt add on, side blades and the rear skirt. Mirror covers, fender inserts and a rear spoiler complete this spiced-up version. What is also new are the 22-inch FR alloy wheels, which will also be premiered at Geneva. With their black corpus and front-polished double spokes they combine sportiness and luxury.
The tech package is also impressive: while the serial car develops 552 hp, the version from ABT outputs no less than 720 hp. ABT Power S module provides the basis for the upgrade - it uses an ABT Engine Control unit with its own with specially developed software.
A custom-developed stainless-steel exhaust system, which with its two double tailpipes provides a roaring sound.
Despite its enormous power, the RS6-R by ABT is not only fun on an oval track or drag strip, but can also be used as a daily driver, according to ABT.
