Less than 40 Ferrari
FXX K models will be produced and they have all already been sold, according
to Top Gear magazine.
The Italian manufacturer also confirmed that the track-only FXX K was able to lap Ferrari's private Fiorano test track in 1m14s, five seconds faster than a standard LaFerrari can manage.
"This is not simply a track version of LaFerrari," explained Ferrari's Nicola Boari.
"Clients from all over the world have bought the FXX K and starting with next season, you will start to see the FXX K on track," he added.
Overall, the racer weighs around 200 lb (90 kg) less than LaFerrari. It's the first Ferrari to produce over 1,000 horsepower and also one of the most expensive at $3.1 million (2.5 million euros), with tax included.
