The Italian company Mazzanti has introduced a new 751-horsepower supercar
called Evantra. It is scheduled to be built in a limited series of 5 examples
per year, each of them individually personalized.
According to customer's wishes, the bodywork can be made out of carbon fiber or aluminum. Mazzanti recons that this makes each car more exclusive, "virtually a one-off".
The Evantra's "mechanical heart" is a naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine, capable of developing 751 hp at 7,500 rpm and 634 lb-ft (860 Nm) of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine has a compression ratio of 11:1, a dry sump lubrication system, and valves and connecting rods in titanium.
Equipped with a 6-speed sequential gearbox, the Evantra can speed up to 223 mph (360 km/h) and accelerates to 60 mph in under 3 seconds.
